Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite – A Detailed Look. Freaking Hot!!!!!
“It’s a dream come true. This Fall, Nike resurrects the out-of-this-world technology of 1997’s Foamposite matching up with a true footwear icon. Originally found on the feet of NBA superstars as well as forward-thinking East Coast urbanites, Foamposite utilized a then groundbreaking two-mold process, delivering an unprecedented upper shape, color and feel giving the shoe a truly futuristic look. It delivered on a new level of performance durability, support and protection. To satisfy the craving that’s persisted since the end of the twentieth century, Nike brings back Foamposite, combining it with the Air Force 1, for an absolutely seamless new slice of basketball footwear.
The legendary AF1, born in 1982 when Bruce Kilgore introduced Nike Air to the game of basketball, is a classic hoop shoe, adopted for the streets and for its style. It’s the sneakerhead’s sneaker, and has been evolving ever since. This evolution sees Nike bring together the best of both worlds. Significant creative thinking and new engineering to create a three-mold process that eliminates the seams on the upper. The shoe also draws on the original Foamposite design, utilizing a midsole that allows consumers a window into the soul of the shoe. Seamless Foamposite, in an Air Force 1.”

Juxtapoz Interview with Robbo: On Banksy, Graffiti and More. Wow!!!
I ordered a Budweiser and anxiously looked at my mobile. It was 7:50pm on a Friday night and Robbo has agreed to meet me at the Princess of Wales pub in Primrose Hill, London*. This friendly little pub was filled to the rafters with people who had gathered to watch the world cup on the two TV screen at either end of the bar. I didn’t have a good view of the entrance so I grabbed my drink and went outside where I was quickly joined by Robbo – a huge stature of a man with shaved head, a white ‘Team Robbo’ tee-shirt which he had designed himself, shorts and trainers. I spent the next few hours learning more about this old school graffiti legend who has been thrust back into the spotlight. –Helen Soteriou

BMW Art Car by Jeff Koons. Hot!!!!!
“At the premiere of the 17th BMW Art Car Jeff Koons unveiled and signed his car in front of 300 international VIP guests on June 1 in the Centre Pompidou, one of the world’s most prestigious cultural institutions for modern and contemporary art. It is the same place where Roy Lichtenstein back in 1977 first presented and signed his Art Car.
In the spirit of Calder, Stella, Lichtenstein, Warhol, BMW announced this year that the 17th Art Car created by Jeff Koons will race where the first rolling pieces of art by legendary artists raced – at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France on June 12-13, 2010. Koons’ canvas is a BMW M3 GT2, which was homologated to compete at this year’s running of the world’s most famous endurance race.
On June 2, between 11 am to 9 pm, the public will have the chance to see the Art Car free of charge in the Forum of the Centre Pompidou. At 5.30 pm Jeff Koons will participate in a book signing at the official book store of the museum before he will talk about his work in conversation with Alain Seban, President of the Centre Pompidou, at 6 pm at the Forum of the museum.”

The North Face Purple Label Polo's Spring/Summer 2010. Hot!!!!!
The Carhartt Heritage Line Spring/Summer 2010. Nice!!!!!
Retro-style details accompanied by a special Heritage hangtag highlight the exceptional character of this line. A replica of the brand’s first logo, a train car superim- posed on a heart – Carhartt, forms the Heritage label and helps to distinguish the Heritage line from the rest of the Carhartt collection. Pants are made from original fabrics and though they are based on Carhartt’s historic work pants, the cut has been reworked to suit the contemporary consumer. Sweaters are made from classic materials and printed with traditional ink for authentic character. Vintage-style yarn sweaters and t-shirts are made from slub yarn; a special yarn produced using traditional methods. The soft, thick nubs of the yarn appear as irregularities in the woven fabric, giving it a distinctive knitted surface and retro impression. A new printing process combined with traditional textile ink re-creates the appearance of vintage prints. This way, prints are fused into the fabric and don’t have the rubbery shine of modern designs. Hems and seams are stitched in time-honored fashion, employing the same patterns and methods used fifty years ago. Additionally, some items are washed for a faded effect.
